It was a terror-free year in the west, for the first time since 9-11. Yes, there was an element of luck, but the absence of major attacks was also a testament to improving technology, skill, determination and leadership.
Why isn't this AP story in more mainstream media outlets? Look who's sitting in the White House. Wouldn't want any credit to rub off on the Bush Administration, eh?
